Full of love
I love my show!

I've just finished watching Reckoning and the tears are streaming down my face. I am alone tonight. It's the first time I've ever watched a new Smallville episode without supacat who could not be here. I can't be sure how this changed my viewing but I suspect it made it closer and more intimate. I feel ripped apart with emotion right now. Everything I love about this show was in this episode. In the last twenty-four hours I rewatched Season 1 with a new viewer, who asked if the journey was worth it?

Yes.

Yes, it is.

*cries*

I might need a couple of hours to get coherent. *g*

*cries more*

K! Go talk to Becky! She's been crying about how bad the episode was to me for hours and hours now..on and off. She said she needs you!!

Also, I'm glad you liked it. I did not. But that's just me. :) I'm contrary like that. *loves you*

I wasn't crying! I was ranting. Shush you.

..Though I will admit that you were ranting an awful lot. But not without good reason!

*shushes self*

P.S. I loved it too and it broke my heart into itty bitty little pieces.

This episode was clearly one of Smallville's finest moments. My composure is completely gone, even a day later. The tragic life of this beautiful soul...

It really was a standout episode for me. I've just got back from being away down the coast and I couldn't stop thinking about it the whole time!

This probably couldn't be anymore of the antithesis of my feelings on the episode.

Funny that.

Last night I was wishing *I* had access to a time-travelling device, because I wanted to talk to you about this episode *immediately*. I loved it *so* much! And like you I cried a lot, mostly in the penultimate scene with Martha and Clark.

Oh meee too! And then I've been away down the beach. It's been hard. I dashed straight to my computer on my return. I was desperate to hear from you about it. Yes--it was the Martha/Clark scene that broke me into the tears. It was so carefully handled and Annette is such a great actor.

I'm glad someone enjoyed it!

Heh! Well I gather it was largely hated. I'm so glad I was unspoiled. I think a lot of the enjoyment came from the surprise factor but I do think it was a solid ep.

On a completely unrelated note--have you always had an Audrey Hepburn moodtheme and I only just noticed it? (I swear, I am *so* unobservant with these things, which is probably how I get by with just the one icon--because I honestly only notice visual stuff about 1/3 of the time)!

Hee! I have had it for a few months, yes. I am still not sure it's my ultimate moodtheme--it was surprisingly hard to settle on one, mostly because it had such an involved set-up--I can't just change it on a whim. But Audrey is very expressive.
