New banner

I was going to wait until my LJ Anniversary to post my new banner. But soon I'm going to be all about Project Smallville! Whee!

So sneaking in just before then... Huge props to

tehjules who helped me make this banner just perfect. It's a still from the movie 'Tideland'. I love it to death. It makes me happier than chocolate!

And a quick reminder that anyone and everyone is invited to write what they like about SV or the fandom for

(Aside: Ach! I do NOT want to 'update captain's log'! This whole pirate day thing has made me realise that I prefer ninjas... consider this my coming-out statement!)

Your banner is so so pretty! I love it!

I have no idea what I think about pirate day. It's so out of left field. *ponders* Ninjas would be much better, yes.

Also, I want to be all YAY! SMALLVILLE!, but my cold is back with a vengeance, worse than before. So instead, it's more like yay!smallville!

I thought I liked pirates, I really did... but when confronted with everything being all yohoho? I discovered I was uncomfortable.

Thanks! Funny you say that... actually it's the girl who played Emily Dinsmore. ;-) Though she was so original in Tideland that I don't think of her as Emily any more.

Thank you! *g* It's Jodelle Ferland who played Emily Dinsmore once upon a time. But this is a screenshot from Tideland, the Terry Gilliam movie she was in.

Yes, I broke just before my anniversary (today!) and couldn't wait any longer to share my banner. I love the way it works with the colour, and I feel all sunny and calm when I see it. *g*
